Project Description

Children's Department Ludwig Beck

Storytelling par excellence

An entire floor bathed in blue. The journey begins in the children's department with a homage to the Memphis style of Ettore Sottsass. Between Pop Art and Art Deco. Appealing to children as well as adults. From now on, baby and children's clothing as well as toys at LUDWIG BECK are embedded in a store design that is dominated by strong color contrasts and unexpected shapes such as cylinders, stripes and circles. The graphic elements move across wall modules made of perforated sheet metal with printed graphics to the elevator. Stripes form an imaginary gate that extends over pillars and ceiling.

The striking shapes follow a strict color concept that playfully extends across all walls, furniture and graphics: yellow, azure blue, gray-green and a light wood tone round off the design. It appears positive, cheerful and playful at the same time.
